About Me

Richard is in his mid-20s, and has the unfortunate task of being Anglo-Welsh. The Welsh hate him, and the English pity him. To balance this out he lives in Chester, where, as long as he avoids crossbows after midnight, he's able to live a happy life.

For 6 years, upto 2011, Richard was a Tory. ToryTastic even. He supported David Cameron in the leadership campaign, even getting himself named on DC's campaign site, and thought of himself as a True Cameroon. (Ideology, not Country. He's no Roger Milla)

Then in 2011, enough was enough. Whilst being a Unitary Conservative Councillor, he defected to UKIP. His reasons can be read here, but suffice to say, after discovering libertarianism, and Ron Paul, in April 2010, he's an awful lot happier, and much more concrete in his beliefs. Indeed, along with two friends, he has set up Independent Thought, a website where he posts non-Chester/CWaC related or personal goodies - it's also updated far more! (EDIT: Not quite as much...)

Away from politics, Richard loves American sports, particularly American Football - both Pro & College, Tottenham Hotspur and Bangor City, going for walks and eating out. GSOH requi... Sorry, wrong type of website.
